In
Acts 15:14, the apostle Peter makes an interesting comment regarding whom God chooses those to serve Him. He says:
"Simon
hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name."
Yes, God has never been a person to deprive any race, people or nationality the privilege of serving Him.
That opportunity still exists today. God the Father, through the precious blood of His Son Jesus Christ, makes it possible
for anyone of any race, any nationality or any country to walk into His loving embrace to be called a child of God.
Later on, in Acts 10:34, 35, the apostle Peter buttresses his statement by saying "Of a truth I perceive
that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him and worketh righteousness, is accepted with
him."
In Revelation 7:9, 10, the apostle John's inspired statement also supports God's acceptance of all manner of obedient
mankind when he says: "After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of
all nations, kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and
palms in their hands: And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the
Lamp."
God loved you first. That is why He sent His Son Jesus to die for you. If you show love and appreciation
for God and the precious gift He provided for you, He will love you even more. He does not care about anything else.
Pure and simple.
